Biography
Hollie Rudolph was born in Newport Beach, California where, at the age of 21/2 she began her initial training with Laguna Dance Theater under the direction of Shery Gilbert. At the age of 11 she moved to Indiana where she continued her training at The New American Youth Ballet and Conservatory under the direction of Beth McLeish. During high school, Hollie was given the opportunity to attend and perform at Regional Dance America and National Regional Dance America. She also performed corps, soloist and principal roles during her time at The New American Youth Ballet and Conservatory, she even premiered in "There, within", an original work choreographed by Eddie Ocampo. During this time, she was also chosen to perform in George Balanchine’s Serenade. Upon graduating from high school Hollie decided to pursue higher education for dance by attending Butler University, there she studied dance-performance. In May of 2019 she received her Bachelor of Fine Art from Butler University. Hollie has also trained and taken master classes with world renowned dancers and teachers/choreographers, Darci Kistler, Allegra Kent, Robert Mills, Adam Sklute, Alonzo King, Peter Boal and many others. She’s spent her summers studying at Pacific Northwest Ballet on scholarship, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet West, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet and Paul Taylor Dance Company. Hollie was a Trainee with San Jose Dance Theatre for two seasons and is now a freelancer dancer in the Bay Area.
